The California Capitol Documentary Film Festival is a new annual event in the Sacramento region. My task for this project was to create an outstanding brand and visual language used throughout print, digital, and social media platforms. The design also needed to speak to a local audience. Using Sacramento's iconic golden bridge and a film strip as inspiration, the film festival logo and assets practically created themselves.
